Stuff happens – but you can handle it
If an attack of the “what if’s” are driving you nuts, try this: imagine the what if’s actually happening. Then visualize how you would handle them if they did. Because problems WILL pop up in a franchise, just like they will in any business. By seeing that you have the power to overcome obstacles, they’ll lose their power over YOU.
Negative thoughts waste energy
You know all that sleep you’re losing over worrying? That’s wasted energy. It would be much better spent running your franchise the next day – and the next, and the day after that. Make it a rule to actively put aside those worries, just like any other rule in a handbook you might give employees.
Focus on the positive
Sometimes, you’re so focused on what you’re doing wrong, it hard to see what you’re doing RIGHT. Instead of fretting over losing customers, think how you can bring in new business by playing to your strengths.
